I thought it was only right to start this Adventure Blog with our West Coast trip. Toad had left the Monday before and drove out West. I flew into Reno, NV this morning and he picked me up to begin our adventures!
First of all, can we talk about this perfect feline specimen on my flight?! I gotta say, I'm not normally a "cat person", but I was definitely vibing with this guy!
We got into Tahoe City and settled into our room at Basecamp Hotel. We had plenty of places to eat within walking distance and a grocery right across the street. We made our way down to Commons Beach/Park. There was a live band playing, people sitting on blankets and chairs around the park, and some food & beverage trucks. There was a great mix of adults and families enjoying the space, the beautiful weather, and fun music.
Basecamp Hotel had a fun map design hanging on the wall at the head of the bed.
